New Speaker

You can create a new speaker by clicking on the New Speaker button on the Speakers Page of your VME. Fill in the below fields on the page that is presented.
First Name

  • This is where to input the speaker’s first name. If creating a fake speaker, input first name: No or input first name: To Be.
  • This field is required.

Last Name

  • This is where to input the speaker’s last name. If creating a fake speaker, input Speaker or Determined. Last names can also include titles or post-nominals.
  • This field is required.

Email Address

  • If the speaker wishes to be contacted during and post-event via email, input their email address into this field.
  • This is not a required field.

Email Public

  • If the speaker wishes to be able to be contacted via email by any attendees during and post-event check this box. If the speaker does not wish to be contacted via email by any attendees during and post-event leave this box unchecked.

Picture

  • This is where to upload a picture of the speaker if supplied. This should be at a maximum 120px wide and 200px tall. This can be any standard image file: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
  • This is not a required field, however we strongly recommend uploading an image as the platform will show a broken image icon in place of a picture if there is no photo uploaded.

Biography

  • Below the picture, you can input the speaker’s biographical information. This can be formatted by using the buttons or by clicking ‘SOURCE’ and editing the HTML. This field is not required.

Once completed with updates on this page, click the SAVE SPEAKER button at the bottom of the page.
